Archdiocese of Washington (ADW) Tuition Assistance Program The ADW Tuition Assistance Program is available for students in grades PreK-12 who are applying to or currently enrolled in Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Washington. All tuition assistance obtained through the Archdiocese is based on demonstrated financial need. Financial need must be demonstrated each year to qualify. Families apply each year to receive tuition assistance. Applying for tuition assistance has no bearing on whether a student is admitted to a school. Applicants are evaluated for the ADW Tuition Assistance Program by completing the St. Joseph’s Regional Catholic School 2025-2026 application in TADS. The financial assistance link can be found HERE.
TADS financial aid and assessment manages the process on behalf of ADW Catholic Schools. Please note that you only need to complete one form for all children in a family, whether elementary school students or high school students, even if seeking tuition assistance for children attending different schools.
The BOOST Scholarship Program The state of Maryland enacted the BOOST (Broadening Options & Opportunities for Students Today) Scholarship Program to give K-12 students who are eligible for the Free or Reduced-Price Meals program (FARMS) scholarships to nonpublic schools including St. Joseph’s Regional Catholic School. The BOOST application typically opens in April. Please see this website for more information.
Pastoral Tuition Assistance and ADW Emergency Assistance Each year, the Archdiocese of Washington and the school’s regional parishes (St. Joseph, St. Nicholas, and St. Hugh) provide a limited amount of tuition assistance to families that have experienced dramatic changes to their financial situations (i.e. job loss, illness, death in the family, etc…) Please contact Erin Meunier or your parish priest for more information on these programs.
