Tuition Assistance Options For New Applicants:

  • Archdiocese of Washington (ADW) Tuition Assistance Program -
    • The ADW Tuition Assistance Program is available for students in grades PreK-12 who are applying to or currently enrolled in Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Washington. All tuition assistance obtained through the Archdiocese is based on demonstrated financial need. Financial need must be demonstrated each year to qualify. Families apply each year to receive tuition assistance. Applying for tuition assistance has no bearing on whether a student is admitted to a school.  Applicants are evaluated for the ADW Tuition Assistance Program by completing the St. Joseph’s Regional Catholic School 2023-2024 application in TADS by  February 18, 2023 (for new applicants).
    • TADS financial aid and assessment manages the process on behalf of ADW Catholic Schools.  Please note that you only need to complete one form for all children in a family, whether elementary school students or high school students, even if seeking tuition assistance for children attending different schools.
  • The BOOST Scholarship Program -
    • The State of Maryland enacted the BOOST (Broadening Options & Opportunities for Students Today) Scholarship Program to give K-12 students who are eligible for the Free or Reduced-Price Meals program (FARMS) scholarships to nonpublic schools including St. Joseph’s Regional Catholic School.  The BOOST application typically opens in April.  Please see the following website for more information https://marylandpublicschools.org/pages/boost/index.aspx
  • Pastoral Tuition Assistance and ADW Emergency Assistance -
    • Each year, the Archdiocese of Washington and our school’s regional parishes (St. Joseph’s, St. Nicholas, and St. Hugh) provides a limited amount of tuition assistance to families that have experienced dramatic changes to their financial situations (i.e. job loss, illness, death in the family, etc.)  Please contact Mrs. Meunier (principal@stjosrcs.org) or your parish priest for more information on these programs.

What Our Parents Are Saying

I LOVE this school! I have a 5th grader and a 6th grader who both started at St. Joseph's in Kindergarten. The staff is amazing - they all treat the students like their extended family. The middle school team is just that... a TEAM who works together to ensure the students are well prepared for High School. They are aware of tests, quizzes and papers that other teachers have assigned and they take care to make sure the students are working to their full potential but are not overloaded. I love many of the community building events St. Joseph's has every year - a crab feast in the fall, a 5K and one mile fun run, monthly basket bingo nights, pasta dinners and a Multicultural Pot Luck Night in the spring! I can't say enough positive about the school. If you are looking for a quality education for your child in a small, personal class setting, you should set up an appointment to visit the school...you won't be disappointed!
